Youth Religious Education
Youth religious education classes meet each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. in the classroom area of the church hall building. Each class lasts 30 minutes and the children are dismissed in time to attend the Divine Liturgy with their families.

Fall Semester (2012)
August 27 – Teacher’s Meeting, 7:15 pm
September 16 – Youth Religious Education kick-off, children’s sermon
September 23 – First day in class
November 25 – Group Class (Vestments, in church); Thanksgiving weekend
December 23 – Group Class (Make a Prayer Corner); Christmas
December 30 – Group Class (Hymns, in church); Christmas
Spring Semester (2013)
January 6 – Classes Resume
January 20 – Group Class (Koliva); Basketball Tournament for 6-12th graders
February 7 – Teacher’s Meeting, 7:15 pm
February 24 – Oratorical Festival
March 17 – Group Class (Prosforo); Spring Break
March 24 – Group Class (Prosforo – the seal); Spring Break
April 27 – Saturday of Lazarus – program, fold palms, youth clean up day
May 5 – Pascha; no class
May 12 – Senior Day
May 19 – Last Day of Classes and Children’s Sermon; Awards; Ice Cream Social
Notes:
The first Sunday of each month will also include a children’s sermon, with some
exceptions.
Group classes will be combined with Adult Religious Education.
